Hi Friends !

Im not able find any vitamin Products specially made for Aquarium Fish, here in the place where I live, so just wanted to ask if I can use the Multivitamin Capsules and Vitamin C tablets that are sold for human consumption in my aquarium ?

I want to soak the freeze-dried daphnia and brine shrimp in vitamins before feeding it to my fish. Kindly guide me if its safe...

Also I can try to get the vitamins that are available for vetenary use (for dogs and cats) - will this be better or the ones for humans are better ?

Kindly guide me...
Thanks and REgards

No, fish have different nutritional needs than humans. Our vitamins are in much higher concentrations than what fish need.

Regular staple food have enough, so I wouldn't worry about lacing your live foods with vitamins as they should be fed sparingly anyways.

i use vitamins meant for human consumption in my homemade goldfish gel food and it is great for the goldfish, but i have never tried soaking so i can't give a yay or nay

Hmmm, I wasn't aware that could be done, but I've never made homemade food. I guess my post could be off base then...

it might not be offbase, all i know is that it is ok for huge goldfish, ive never given it to tiny tropicals. it might be too concentrated for them, but i have no clue. im probably just confusing the OP further lol
