Have a female Red Parrot and male Flower Horn that have mated. Both are hybrids. So goes the theory that they are sterile, or so I have read.
They are the 2 biggest in a cichlid community tank, 1 each - jewel, convict, green terror, medium red parrot, silver dollar, 2 plecos.
The pair or should I say the female r. parrot layed eggs 3 times in month and a half. The third time they hatched and lived for 2 days. The others obviously got them. Is it unusual to lay that often? They are in a 55. I guess I should move all the others and let the pair have their own tank.
Any ideas or info?
