I was wondering if any one else is using these type of pumps?

I have the Ario 4 in my 36 gallon and the Ario 1 in my 10 gallon. They work great with out the noisy air pump and the air stone. I recomend any one that gives their fish additional oxygen to look into it. The Ario 4 has worked great so far, but the Ario 1 seems to plug up frequently prolly from the live plants and brine shrimp, so I would not get that small model again, they all have regualting valves on them to control air flow too. BTW my girl friend paid like $30 for the Ario 1 at Petco, but they are much less money here.

I realize that this is an old thread, however, I got the ario 4 with led light about 1-2 months ago and it will not throw bubbles out anymore. I really liked this thing until about a week ago.
I've tried to blow air thru the intake tube and it would work to get it going again but now .. nothing. it's dead.
Where is this regulator valve, and does anyone else have any suggestions?

Check that it is not stuck with gravel or plant matter, check that the vanes have not broke off the impeller, if the did go to hydor and complain, they will send you a new impellar.
