Has everybody heard about what happened to the I-35W bridge here in Minnesota? Turn your tv's to CNN...it just collapsed :omg:

I know we have a handful of members in AC from the Land of 10,000 Lakes. I hope you and any of your loved ones are all accounted for.

It is a sad story...and it even made MSNBC and CNN....plzz send good thoughts and prayers to the families, friends and victims...

Truly sad...
my mom told me about it when I was talking to her....and then told hubby and we have been watching every minute...and hubby used to travel that road everyday to go to and from work....glad he works closer to home...

Sounds like only about 15 people have been sent to hospitals as of right now. Of course it's hard to tell how many people are still missing. Luckily with the construction, less cars were on the bridge. It could have been much worse...

Thank you for your concerns mee-mee. I am glad that I live on the south side of the cities...
 
I'm watching since I saw your first post.. I live in ND and its horrible, I've been on that bridge many times.. Its actually quite scary because I was supposed to be in the cities for training this week but couldn't get away due to the amount of work I have to get done..

I am hoping that everyone's friends and families are safe..
