I don't like the future...

A ten gallon is difficult enough to manage right now, and with a 55 on the way, i'm thankful i'm not the only one who can take care of fish in the family.

What really bugs me if a lack of time, money (self funded) and space.

with the exception of dorm room tanks (unlikely with college pressures anyways) and the ones i'm setting up now, it looks like no fish for about...11 years.

you can always make time.

if it means doing a quick water change at 1130 at night, then so be it.

Midnight water changes were common during my undergraduate days.

and as far as space goes, how much space do you have to work with?

I would not worry.

You can find ways around these things.

Do you have a Python? It takes me about twenty minutes to drain, fill, clean the filter and wipe the algae out of my 55.

bigger tanks = easier to take care of (although water changes are harder).

Sorry about no more fish.... you could do like a 3 gallon shrimp or 5 gallon betta or something like that.
