This is great! Exactly what this hobby needs. 
There are two LFS's in my area that stock them, but one wants $7.99 per fish and the other $7.49. These stores are in Rockville and Gaithersburg, Maryland, respectively.
I might just have to go buy some, but I just can't seem to justify spending $50 on such tiny little guys.

heck thats cheap, mine were higher,.. but the little guys are endangered, and so lovely, and timid..
just an update i now have about 6 spawning of fry, the first ones are mini adults now and more today and yesterday and a week ago, boy they sure like messing around..

Congrats again. I just reread the thread looking for your water params, what are the pH, KH & GH & temp?
first batch was 5 the rest are too small and see thru to get a number. but the last batch is around 8
they are in a heavy planted and its hard to get them all in one spot to count, i've been trying to move them to a bigger tank but they won't stop breeding..
also if anyone would like the whole lot , that is close for pick up they are for sale, i have to get rid of all the tanks and stuff,
looks like i'm going to be out on my own now, and will need to get a job for the 1st time in 14 years of motherhood, being left to fend for myself,.. and it don't feel good.. so i will be trying to save my house..on my own.
