I was at my neighborhood petco to get my doggies toe nails clipped and noticed that they recieved a new shipment of fish (thats the only way I buy from petco) While I waited I happen to wonder over to the aquatics section and I was looking at all the floating bags The guy who runs the dept. knows me and was like check out what I got and showed me some pink,yellow, and orange anthias that came in. I looked and saw that he got a single green chromis that was about floating in the tank full of "assorted damsels" nothing but yellowbellies, yellowtail,domino, blue devils, and I felt sorry for the little one as I knew it was going to be eaten alive. So I decided to buy the lonely chromis to add to my growing school, I asked him if I could possible take some of the sand (for my new 10G)that was in their lr tank (now empty) since all the lr was taken out and there was nothing but some frags and 2 shrimp with a lot of sand. He said take whatever you like.As he gave me a bag to fill as I was filling it with sand I jokingly (sp) asked what about the frags? can I take those too....as to he replied if you want them a little exited and a little cautious I began to get more bags!! long story short I ended up getting about 5 frags a cleaner and peppermint shrimp, with 2 margareta snails and I ended up buying 2 feathers and a chromis. Total $$ for my trip 15 Bucks!!! (not including my doggies nail trim) anyways here are some pics id share with you.

is that a camel back or peppermint shrimp?
 
That is a camel, not a peppermint shrimp. But the rest looks sweet. Nice score. None of the chain pet stories in my area carry marine, only the local ones, who seem to be semi knowlegable.

opsy yest those are camel, I got too caught up in the moment.

and so far its just a half dead bubble and some GSP might be able to get some leathers as well

oh yea I can prob do some anemones, pink tip, and some other stuff. It kinda sorta opened but then closed I think tomm stands a better chance, Just my luck I got to drill this weekend. Have to wait till Mon. BTW this coral for the most part is in pretty bad shape hence the "rescue" but I think under the right conditions (lighting/CA) they should bounce back. Ill do some "rescuing" and see what I get and give you a price quote but rem. It wont happen till maybe mid of next week. What would you want from the stuff I listed??
