Today is my daughters birthday party and it has been raining all morning. I planned for the party to be at the park at the lake by my house. I had her second birthday there and it was so cold. Then the next two birthdays I had it at my house and it was hot outside. So I thought it would be safe this year, boy was I wrong. I hope it stops raining soon but the party is in an hour and a half and I don't think things will dry out in time.

This is the first party that her friends from daycare were actually going to come. She is so excited for this and now all she keeps asking if it will stop raining.

GO AWAY RAIN!

Thank you, she is five and this is really the beginning of her actually looking forward to birthdays. Its all very exciting how excited she was for this.

She is my only child so every new thing is exciting for me haha.

It has stopped raining a few minutes ago, but it looks like another cell is coming our way .... I hope not.

Well the weather cleared and we had a good party. Only problem is none of her friends from preschool came or called. The only people at the party was her family. I have a niece and a nephew around her age. My sisters friend called and she said hey come to the party, she was right around the corner. She came with her two kids which was great. So even though none of her friends came she had a great time and I'm glad.

I just don't understand people though. Maybe I just grew up differently, but I would call if I wasn't coming to a party. In fact I put RSVP and my cell on there and only one parent called to tell me they were going to come. I always RSVP even though I have anxiety about calling people I don't know on the phone, I still suck it up and do it.

Unpredictable weather? Try living in South Dakota....Yesterday it was 50 Outside and today we are in a blizzard warning....really sucks if ya ask me

LOL Bear,
I was just thinking the same thing. I am sitting in an ambulance staging area at Farg ND, waiting in case we are needed.
