They are so precious! How big of a tank do you have? Do you have territorial disputes? I am finding out if I can have them in California but I am wondering if it gets too hot here. Can you keep them with anything else? Do they actually have a fringe on their backs?
I had my original 3 in a 20 long, and after scoring a 40 breeder from Craigslist over the weekend, I decided to add 3 more.
They all have their "favorite" rock, so if someone else decides to jump on, they will "flare up" & walk sideways towards the offender, but that's it.
No fighting whatsoever!
They are in brackish water, so you can have Mollies, etc, but I choose to just keep the skippers, oh, and about 8 Ghost shrimp that were supposed to be dinner, but the skippers ignore them
Very nice, seeing your tank is making seriously considering using my empty 32g tank for skippers.
