I need a little advise here

He could even outgrow a 100 gallon tank...ID sharks can get to over 3 feet. I'd try to find a LFS somewhere that will take him. Just do a GIS for 'pangasius catfish' and you'll find pics of some MONSTERS.

did you get test kits for your tanks when you set them up, if the wifes tank was not cycled (which it sounds like it wasn't) you will need to be doing water changes everyday, maybe as much as 50% or more to keep the fish alive. If you haven't already, check out those cycling stickys, amonia and nitrite are toxic to fish and they won't last long if either are in the tank. The LFS will usually test water for free until you can get your own kits, if they do, ask for exact numbers, do not just let them tell you the water is ok. They may not know what ok either!!!

Also, once your wifes tank is cycled, I would suggest two more corys (((the same kind that she has one of ))) They are schooling fish, and will be much happier with a couple of friends. Other than that, the tank is fully stocked

update

well two weeks down the road and i have lost two female guppies and one neon i bought a test kit and threw the strips away what a joke .results of test are ph 7.8
amonia 0.25
nitrite 0.50

i have been doing 50% changes almost every day and i hope this does the trick i also put in a product called AmQuel+ the lady at the LFS said it will take care of any amonia ,nitrite, nitrate problems i hope so i will keep yall posted i hope its not just more snake oil as i have a cabinat full of that stuff and i only picked this hobby up 6 weeks ago.as for my 55gal tank with one oscar in it seems to be okay he's just 2" long so it will probaly take a while for his tank to cycle but i am keeping a close watch on his water i will post again in a couple of weeks and let yal know how it is going hopfully my death toll wont be rising as fast as nola
