weezer whats up with the nodding head if you dont like my question than tell me what is so bad about at least im not going to put it on youtube for every one to see.

O cool

... one that could and will rip apart a ghost shrimp...because it is boring watching all my other fish eat flakes and brine shrimp.

Perhaps I don't understand.

You just want to watch fish kill something?

(..and to think I keep fish because I find them beautiful. I guess I'm missing out)

I apologize for the sarcasm. Perhaps you would get more responses if you were to word it a little differently "I'm looking for an aggressive live-feeder" .

I don't think you need to get a particularly aggressive (or mean) fish, it just has to be big enough. If the shrimp will fit in it's mouth, the fish will probably eat it.

I have a juvenile angelfish in my 55 gallon tank with tons of shrimp. He eats the small ones when he can find them, but he usually can't because they stay in the moss. He is interested in the big ones and chases them around once in a while, but they are too big for him to eat (for now). I'm sure he will eat them when he is big enough. When he does eat a smaller one, he just inhales it, definitely not shy.

BTW, I want to keep a lot of shrimp, so I moved about 20 into my new 30 gal, where they can live unmolested and multiply. It will be interesting to see how things unfold in the 55 gal with the angelfish and shrimp.

I don't know if inhaling in one nice clean gulp is what he's talking about. Or I may be wrong, if so I apologize.
