I need help identifying this fish

Hi everyone,

I need help Identifying this fish. I was given it as a gift with several others and I cannot figure out what it is (therefore how to take the best care of it) It hides a lot and is shy so getting good pics is tough. Thankyou in advance

:jaw:that looks to me like a wolf fish and grows to 1 foot long. it must be fed meaty foods and should have some shelters. How big is your tank? If it is smaller than 100 gallons you will either have to give the fish away or get a bigger tank.
 
It may not be. it doesn't quite have eyes that are big enough, but I really don't recognize it. I suggest getting a monster fish keepers account and asking there because they will proabably know exactly what it is. i have cruised mfk for a few months and I honestly have never seen that fish.
 
Thank you everyone!!! It is in a shelter now in my 500 gallon show tank. It mainly eats goldfish right now is there something meatier that you suggest?
