About two months ago a friend called me up to help him with his 10gal and new fish. So i went over and saw that he had gottin a 4" Paroon shark!!! OMG I said, do you know what that is? He said "YEAH!!! It's the cooest fish ive ever seen".
I said, Do you know how big that thing is going to get? He said "Umm no??"

To make a long story shorter, I convinced him to give the little giant to me since he had no intenions of ever gitting a bigger tank.

So now this little giant is in my hands and im beginning to think "What have I done?" and what will I do in years to come?

I only rescued this little giant because I new that he would have some sort of a better life with me and my will to help keep it in better conditions, Then what he was in before.

So now he is in a planted 30gal Eclipes, (I know 20gals is not much of a differance) But im in the middle of biulding a 100gal, (Should have it compleated by this spring if not sooner..)
What ill do after that im not sure. Its all about money. Because I know what this fish can grow to. Up to 8' =O

But for now I think ive done the right thing. I think............
"Fupa's going out to refi house"

How big is the fish now?

That fish grows fast!!

Your going to need a bigger tank than a 100 gallons.. They like to jump as well....

Good luck.

Whew...yeah, those are big fish. Your intentions are of course noble in rescuing it from a little 10 gallon shoebox, and you seem to be aware of what you're in for if you want to house this fish into adulthood.

You can feed it pieces of fish and shrimp. In the wild this fish eats smaller fish and crustaceans.

Unless you plan on building a sizeable pond in the not-too-distant future, after it outgrows the 100gal tank I'd suggest finding a good beer-batter recipe and throwing a party. :D

Lol!!

Why in the world would anyone want a fish that gets to be 100" long? Particularly when they are that unattractive? Chalk up another fish that should be banned from the trade.
