Yes, I really should NOT go to auctions...

Yesterday's auction @ Perry Grange between Massillon/Canton Ohio...a few of my bargains:

10 packets of Nibblers food tablets...$4
Large & small duckweed, $1 per bag
Microworm culture $1
20 Red Cherry Shrimp $12 (+ 3 'bonus' mystery fry)
8 Red Claw Shrimp juvies $14
6 Panda corys $25 total
3 hifin Paleatus corys ~$8
Also got a bunch of pineapple & 'red albino' swordtails & 4 orange speckled wag platys-one very preggo.

The deal of the day was:
16oz Prime + 16oz Seachem Fresh Trace...$7
That's a $20 bottle o' Prime!

Started @ noon, we got here ~ 12:15, left @ 3:30, and they still had about an hour left to go. As expected, some things went cheap, even cheaper as the auction went on. Later on, 5 albino cory aeneus went for ~$8. Lots of guppies going for $3-5/bag. And this was a 'mid-size' auction - I'll be in big trouble if I go to a big one. Next time I take $50 cash and leave the checkbook at home!

Spent $85 (ouch), made ~$20 net, I'm still in the doghouse for the $65 :(

I really should NOT go to auctions...

Thats nothing, I got 5 mixed angelsfish for a 1! And alot of the stuff you got too only a little more expensive. But I am going to a huge one in two weeks

Send it to me and I'll find out! whoops, sorry jm, I dont know why but I won it for a dollar :D

yeah, probably no more than a few bucks a bag. Generally cheaper than at the store. I got a BMF bag of najas grass at last month's club mtg auction for ~$7 and split it with a friend...

problem is...what ELSE will you come home with ? :)

Tell me about it, came home with 6 killifish, two kinds of guppies, endlers, shrimp, plants, and two tanks.
