I think I may have got screwed on eBay.

It's much too early to go an say for sure, and its only for $24, So it would really only be enough just to be a general **** off.

I purchased some ammonium chloride from a user called 888malc, and payed with an eCheck.

Well it cleared on monday, so I went to check the payment details, and auction details to print some reciepts. Everything seemed normal.

I went to check My eBay, and noticed that all of a sudden the item had dissapeared.
It turns out the listing was removed.

I checked through this guys feedback of 2180 (98.2%) and noticed a few bad scores of peolle who hadnt recieved things, and gotten poor excuses.

I emailed the guy again, and asked him why the listing was removed, and if it had been shipped yet.

He responds with "its chemicals they dont like them, you can still order via my paypal, just send money to my email"

So im sitting here thinking wtf? I email him back and let him know that it has already been paid for.

Ive heard no response from him yet, but I only sent that email yesterday, although im not expecting to hear from him.


Does this sound odd to anybody else?
 
Yeah it does sound strange. I'm waiting for some dirftwood I ordered from ebay....hope it comes soon, its been 13 days.

Bummer. Sounds like a case for Judge Judy.
I never order online unless from a reputable store.

Yeah I wouldn't be too worried, plus since you paid via paypal (im assuming anyways) then they have like $300 buyer protection on any transactions, if it never shows just let paypal know and they will put the money back in your account and deal with him on their own. Happened to me before.

its not generic, I was talking to the dude. he had previously provided much info about the grade of chemical etc.

Im obviously going to give it a while, I expect packages to arrive within 2 weeks, as I have NEVER had ANY package Ive ordered from ebay, arrive any longer than that.

I havent recieved any shipping notification or anything though.

Heres the other thing, with the auction/listing removed, I cannot leave him feedback, good or bad.

Also there are many other listings for ammonium chloride... so what was it that "ebay didnt like" about his???
