I think I may have got screwed on eBay.

ahh... that looks like it will work.

i will get to that when i get home from work tonight.

I just bought a laptop for $800 on ebay. I pre-checked his feedback and verification on ebay and paypal both. The listing was removed by ebay after I won it and along with it they took all of the users contact info. I was refered to paypal to settle the dispute. Ebay was NO HELP AT ALL. I'm irate in the least with their customer service. They gave me the same run around every time I tried contacting them. I will no longer deal with ebay anymore unless they develope a better system in dealing with cases like this.

Paypal was the same. Beforehand I qualified for up to $2000 coverage, I made sure of that incase this happened... after the fact they only covered $200. They will not answer any of my emails or anything.

I feel completely helpless, and due to the fact that I've just had a child and need a laptop for my business, I was forced to take money out of my childs fund. It seems no matter what I do, nothing works

In summary, I feel your pain. But I'd almost recommend counting your losses. But if you do find some way to get your money back, PLEASE tell me so I can get something back.

wow thats pretty bad, sorry to hear that man.
Like i said, im only out $24, so its really just enough to be irked about, if im covered somehow, great, if not.... then its chalked up to IT happens, and I learn from this mistake, do more reading, and learn the policies.

I have never really visited these sites much before, But they MIGHT be able to at least help you figure out what you can do to get some kind of return or something.

actually iv'e had this problem. ebay are actually really strict. they will take anything off that may damage them in any way in the future (eg chemicals). Its odd... but i'd just leave it for a bit.

someone else who left bad feedback, had purchased some calcium hydroxide or something, and had not recieved it in over a month, and the listing was still there.

just another thing on the suspicion list.
