I went to a LFS today and the only things I brought home were a mangrove plant, 2 packs of frozen food and some feeders for my hubby's oscars.
:jaw-dropping:
Oh and I even went in Petco and resisted the skinny poor little scooter blenny they were selling as a lawnmower blenny. I only picked up cat food, a filter for my qt and a magazine!
In the fish store, I spent over an hour looking at fish and I couldn't decide for sure on any of the wrasses I saw, or which tang I want, or whether I should put a bumble bee goby into my 9 gallon nano yet, so I came home with no fish at all and I'm trying to research the ones I liked! Yay me!

Now, anyone have any idea what wrasse is sortof skinny and shaped like one of the fairy types and is a pale peachy pinky color along the top half of the body and a pale yellow along the belly? It looked really washed out, like maybe it wasn't showing it's true colors since it was in a tank with no hiding places and lots of other fish, but it was really healthy looking and friendly and inquisitive, so I was really really wanting it.
However, this particular store gets the majority of their wrasses in labeled Misc. Wrasse, and the sales guy didn't have a clue and neither did the owner apparently. I'm actually not wild about this particular store, but it's not very far from home, which is important these days. They do have a nice selection of fish overall and very good prices, but they carry things I don't approve of, but oh well, so does everyone else. Plus, every time I ask the sales guy how big a fish gets, he says it depends on the size of the tank. :headshake2: Anyway, I digress. Any idea what type of wrasse that might be?
Thanks!
