I want crabs!!!

Never thought I'd be able to say that.....:D Any way, I was thinkin' of getting some crabs for my tank, rather I would really like to. I have a 125g that is currenlty FOWLR, but is geared to someday be converted to a full blown reef. All its current inhabitans are reef friendly, and I'd like to keep it that way.

On to the crabs. I was thinking of some sally lightfoots, or emerald crabs, but I don't want something that will plague me down the road when I make the switch to reef. I also would like to have a nice assortment if I could, so they will have to be species that will tollerate other species of crabs present. All suggestions welcome. TIA

SLFs could give you problems later on if you have smaller organisms, but emerald crabs are really nice, particularely if you have bubble algae. You hardly ever see them, but they do keep the rocks clean. Other crabs that would work would be a few red legged hermits and maybe a blue legged or two for cyano, though I doubt you'd ever see them in a tank that size.
