So as I mentioned in there I will be getting a 300 gallon plus tank and I want U.S. Native fish for it I really like yellow bass but I can't get any info on them. And before you say pickerel I already plan on getting a 150+ gallon tank with some pickerel. But I don't really know I really like native fish and I just don't know there are so many options. Also I don't care if it can live with other fish or if it needs to be in a tank by itself.
Thanks,
Sy

You might check monster tank forum (mfk button at top of the page). Those folks seem to deal fishes with various types of bass so i suspect you are more likely to get help there....

I think you misread his statement. He doesn't care if the fish requires a tank of their own or if it can co-exist with other fishes. That doesn't mean he doesn't want to know if it requires the tank or if he can keep other fishes with it - it just means that he is still interested in the fish either way....

So you don’t care but ask for advice.....noted.

No, you did misread and I mean this in no rude way at all I meant that if it needs a tank by itself I will accommodate to it

I want to say this thank you jake72 for the recommendations but sadly it seems nobody has info on yellow bass but I'm looking into yellow perch.
Thanks,
Sy

So Cal
you might consider bluegills / copperheads. perhaps this isn't the look that you want, but at least they seem to be readily available online
