Ive been treating my 37 gal tank (was a 20 gal) for about 2 weeks. Still the only fish in the tank that had signs of ich is the only one with signs today. The little white spots havent moved in 2 weeks! Still the same ones in the same places. Now I have had 2 mollys die (the only ones I had) the last one died yesterday. The first one died the third day I had him. Im not sure if it is ich or not, mainly because the little white dots should have atleast moved or dropped off and spawned by now. Im still keeping my tank @ 82-84 deg f and the salt is @ about 1.5 teaspoons per gal. What do you guys think it is and what the heck should I do?!

treat for another week and a 1/2 with ich you're better safe than sorry and the fish can make it if the ich hasn't weakened them too much in which case they wouldn't make it anyway

BTW are you sure it's ich lets see some pics

Ill try to post some pics Kyle but the little booger wont be still long enough for me to get a good unblurd shot. Ill also have to link it to another topic post since I cant post it as a reply in this one. But Ill still try. Again it LOOKS like ich but it hasnt moved or dropped off in 2 weeks. No one is gill flashing or acting funny at all, even the 3 other glass fish are seemingly fine! Im confused can you tell?

hmm if you've uploaded the pic to a site like photobucket you shouldn't have any trouble posting in a reply. . .

there are other diseases that create white things on the fish like fungus and other bacterias that look like fungus but the shape and distribution are very distinct so i'd know for sure if it was ich if i saw a clear pic

you might look for some disease pics (if u haven't already)

either way heat and salt are good for other diseases too- so keep it up a week or so longer

ya, thats what im going to do. Ive tried and tried to get a clear pic but the glass fish is either to clear or to reflective without a flash which screws up the shot. Thanks for the info.
