I've noticed my fish have been knocking into the filter and tubing in my tank. It looks like a cross between scratching and head butting (not head on but from the side). The things is... there aren't any other symptoms... except maybe some fin rot. Which may or may not be related. I suspect Ich but I'm not sure. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate/pH
Type and number of fish and tank size.
At the moment the symptoms are very non-specific, could be a reaction to something toxic in the water or some sort of pathogen.
Do a substrate vacuum and a 25% water change after you've tested your water. That should help lower the number of nasties in your tank wether they're pathogens or toxins.
