Hello. I bought a female crown tail Betta 2 weeks ago. I was going to quarantine her before I put her in her new home. I'm glad I did, I noticed she had velvet disease. So, I treated her for velvet disease. (All gone now) Two days after I got her she got a white dot on her belly next to her anus, which I believe is ich. I did what I needed to do, raise the temperature, add salts, medication. I have spent two weeks trying to get this ich off her body and this sucker is stuck! I know the life cycle of ich. I'm very well educated in that department. I need help in figuring out why this only spot that has ever appeared on her body is not falling off? I can't think of what else it can be. It's not falling off and then coming back on, it never fell off. It's just one spot on her belly.

I'm very aware that it's nearly the same treatment. That's pretty obvious too. I've read a lot of information on how to treat both, but am having issues finding any information on why this dot won't fall off. Hence why I posted on about the dot, and not how to treat velvet and ich. Picture is attached.

Wait a second! Do you think she's eggy? I've never had a female before, so this is new territory.

Sure looks like her tube is down :) But I have only seen this on discus, angels and plecos. So a better answer may come from a betta keeper.
