Ick cure?

I got two fish the other day from the lfs & before I added them to my main tank (90gal) I put them in a 10gal to make sure they was alright. A 1 inch rusty & a blue unknown. Well anyways now I see little spots look like small grains of salt. I think it's ick I raised the temp & wanted to know could I add table salt or does it has to be aquarium salt?

what kind of fish are these? anyway, i think normal salt should be fine, but i'm not sure

Table salt is often added with iodine, which may not be good for your fish.

Iododinized table salt is fine. The iodine is actually trace amounts and there's not enough to worry about.
