everything was fine for about 4 months straight.

the only new creature to the tank was 2 baboo shrimp about 2 weeks ago.

and i changed some plants around yesterday.

i saw my blue ram scratching himself agains a rock this morning. (i did a 40% w/c yesterday when i moved the plants around) said to myself i'll give it another w/c tomorrow. then i saw a neon tetra also rubbing himself again a leaf.

just now i notice my blue ram flopping around the tank! :(
this was the longest i had fish with out dying on me.

i believe the shrimps might of came with ick!

what should i do?

buy ick away and add it to the tank for about 1 to 2weeks then it should be fine ;)

Please read the article on salt and heat, very informitave,it has less stress on fish than anything else.

I wouldn't worry about salt harming the MTS. I've done salt with no harm to any fish, plants or snails. I also had MTS survive a fishless cycle in a brackish tank. They are near indestructable.
