I ask a lot of questions and I hope it's not annoying anyone. I would really like a nice thick but neat ground cover for my 40 hex. I'm working with 2 wpg. I'd like something that isn't too picky. Any suggestions?

i haven't had any luck with ground cover at that light strength, mostly b/c the ground cover that grows at that light strength tends to grow slowly enough where algae begins to accumulate on it.

but maybe you'll have more luck. dwarf clover might be a good option. dwarf hairgrass too (although I'm not sure if you need some more light for that one). you could also try a moss ground cover

hopefully someone more experienced will chime in here :)

p.s. don't ever apologize for asking questions. that's what the forum is here for :thm:

Blyxa japonica works good
