Spotted this scurrying round a patch of algae and wondered if it's a big pod or young shrinp or something else. I've noticed what looks like a few shed skins of the same shape floating around the tank.

Cheers mate. I was dreading you saying it was a mantis or something else bad. Having enough trouble trying to catch the crabs, don't need bad shrimps too lol.

it's a cope not an amp they ARE way bigger.
i saw one of them get OWNED by my clown once. it was pretty cool.

copopods are straight amphapods are curled "in half" or "bent" it has the classic features of a amphapod and its laterally flattened as well.
