Alright these have popped up on a piece of rock i have. Im guessing they are some kind of poylp...any ideas?

Nope. Those are Palythoa. A type of zoanthid polyp.

Although they will spread and may need to be culled if they start to crowd out other corals they are harmless.

Aiptasia have a smaller oral disk and much longer tentacles.
