ID This Fish : Game

I don't think so but I'm not at home, we are on vacation so I can't check it for you. It is a Goby though and it only grows to ~ 5-6"

Yeah that seems right, another member of Eleotridae (gudgeons/sleepers). Really hard call with that fish cause there are so many similar species.


Mudfrog: Many of the Eleotridae have common names that include the word "goby" as they're very similar to gobies and I would imagine have similar genetic ancestry, the defining characteristic of members of the family Gobiidae is the fused pectoral fins, hence why I was asking about them. Trying to narrow the feild down a bit. :D
