Sounds great. How much live rock will you have? How much lighting will you have? Just one more thing. I would get half of the snails and crabs you are planning to get, and get more only when you need more, because if you have alot of snails and crabs and theres not enough food for them to scavenge, the crabs will start eatting the snails, then die themselves.
 
id pass on the starfish until your tank is pretty mature, and even still then unless you have a lot of live rock.

i think its enough i would also get a proteim skimmer and some maxijets for circulation so any comments/concerns/suggestions all welcome and ok on the crabs and snails
 
I would assume he is gettting the only 48 incher they have since his tank is a 4 foot long 55 gal. Which leaves 4.27 WPG (roughly) of PC light, that is not enough PC light to reach the bottom of the tank.
