Ideal seahorse tank?

My wife likes the idea of keeping a seahorse tank in the bedroom. I'm thinking a couple of pairs of kuda or erectus. I figure something around 50 gallons would work.

Not sure if I want to do an all-in-one cube-like tank or a standard tank. It's going in the bedroom, so I want it to look nice and be fairly quiet. The JBJ 45 rimless, SCA 50, and CadLights have caught my eye. (Most of the AIO tanks I've seen are nano, so these are new to me.)

I do have a 40 breeder sump that I could put under a regular tank if I found one that's the right size--large enough to have a stand that holds the sump but no larger. Or I could go sumpless, but I think a regular tank with lots of stuff hanging off the back is not the look my wife will like....

Any suggestions?

Tankbred Kuda would be the easier of your choices, seahorses prefer cooler water and the CB Kuda's would be most tolerant of water temps upto 78* though cooler is still ideal.

Not many larger AIO that aren't ridiculously expensive, or aren't really AIO just more like complete package bundles(red sea, larger elos's) If you go with standard tank 55g is the suggested minimal size for Kuda's.

I would say a 54g+ corner would be fine. Probably want to go with LED lighting to get good coverage with the oddball shape.
