Ideas for a 55g tank?

Really? Angels wouldn't eat cardinals? Well, anyway, the more I think about it, the more attractive that bright splash of reds and greens of GloFish would look so cool against the black sand and decor I'm planning. Plus, if I decide to go with less dramatically colored fish like black angels or something, they will really accent the tank.:cool2:

They shouldn't. Cardinals are a little stockier than neons which are the most likely to become angel snacks.

I'm personally not a fan of GloFish but your choice.

The top one, elephant nose?, is weird! I like the bottom one. That's a butterfly fish, right? Would they (the butterfly fish) be compatible with glofish, kribs, gouramis?

Why would you spend a few more pennies for a glofish when you can have the original zebra danios (Brachydanio rerio)?

Some people like the look...I personally don't. :headshake2:

Zebra danios are boring. I like the colors of the GloFish.

No more ideas?

Ok, will this plan work?
1-2 Plecostomus of unknown type (I'm considering several, depends on what is available and expense and size)
1-3 Dwarf Flame Gouramis (depends on whether or not I can get females)
2 Kribensis
5 to 15 GloFish
Possibly some inverts

Will everyone behave together? Can I get more of what's listed or more of any other fish? If so, what? Thanks!!!
