Since I took all the crappy non-aquatic plants out and cleaned all the filth from them out, all I have left is a few little aquatic plants in the foreground, and I need something to fill up the space at the back of the tank, so that my kuhli's have something to hide in and my platies have something to play in!
Here are some pictures of the tank so you can see what conditions are like.
The plants are in fine gravel, and I don't add anything to the tank for their benefit. No sponge or lead involved and the plants that are there have well spread roots now. So I can't have anything which needs really high light, although I will go out and buy ferts if need be; also I cannot even begin to understand the CO2 thing so can't have plants which need that
Also, I LOVE those like, tumbleweed algae things, they're fantastic! Are they hard to come by??
