I am just curious, assuming that money, time ,maintenance and space were not an issue. Which setup would you go for. 1: One big setup totaling 5000g .2: Fifty 100g setups.3: one 2500g and twenty five 100g setups. The numbers really dont matter, I just want to see whether you would go for one big tank or lots of little ones or even the third option. I let you know when i come back to reality.

I would take the third option. A really big tank (as opposed to really REALLY big) and a few smaller ones (probably 200ish)....but heres the catch, each tank would be a specific habitat (biotope, i guess). I'm from illinois, so i would have an Illinois river habitat, probably a local lake habitat, then a hole bunch of other ones, but I would keep it all natural. :)

i've been thinking about this topic for a while too...lol....apparently im off in la la land as well.... :D

I would say that if you have ever been to the Monterey Aquarium and your Dad was one of the founders of Hewlett Packard the answer is quite obvious. All of the above.

Is that really true? If it is that is extremely cool!!!!

: Who owns the aquarium?
A: The aquarium is owned by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Foundation, a public non-profit organization established by David and Lucile Packard.

I wasn't doubting you at all. It was a rhetorical question. As I dont live in America(forgive my ignorance) I didn't know who owned the aquarium. Thanks for the info. And I will say again COOL !!!

thre last option is what i am dreaming of.......
