I went to pick up that same silicone and on the back it said that its not for aquariums.

That kind of silicone can kill your fish and any animals on land. Return it and get Silicone I, it's much better and it won't hurt your animals..

I have seen some people use silicon II with no issues, but I wouldn't try it.

hey i just got a 36" fixture with a t8 25 watt 8000k flourecent bulb for it and when i pluged it in its like purple? is that ok? or does it have to be yellow for moss to grow and for poison dart frogs.
