I have an incandescent(sp?) hood on one of my fish tanks, it has 2 screw in 15 watt bulbs in it. I was wondering if anyone made a type of flourescent bulb that would screw into my incandescent hood, or am I going to have to buy a new flourescent hood?

All you have to do is buy screw in compact fluorescent bulbs. They sell them at Walmart and other department stores. I have two 10 watt CF bulbs in my 10g incandescent hood. Don't bother with fluorescent hoods, as I've not see any of them that have a bulb capacity of over 15 watts. You are going to want more than that if you choose to grow plants.

Ok, thanks!

look for some of the hydroponic lighting...... 75W+ of flo. lighting.

Problem is most of those are Mogul base "CF's" and not medium.

What are you talking about?
Why would I want 75 watts of light over a 10? What's wrong with mogul base?
