Hi guys,

I currently have two giant fan shrimp and one wood shrimp in an 180L. Currently I am creating an area of flow using an ayirstone, but the problem is the spray on the water surface is damaging my floating plants. I have a dwarf gourami in the tank that likes to have most of the tank being low flow. I didn’t know if anyone had any ideas or ways to create a small area of strong water flow, that wouldn’t impact my plants or fish?

Thanks,
Toby

Use a circulation pump in the water, you can create low flowcareas with decor.

Yeah I have a small circulation pump in 1 of my tanks, but it's bigger than your tank. Mine is a 4 ft. tank I "think" the water flow is from a Koralia 400L/hour powerhead/wave maker, very gentle but your tank is shorter...I'm not sure how much flow your shrimp would like...& your gourami not like like.
