So, I removed my ballast and it is surprisingly only about 1f cooler. I am working on raising the hood slightly and adding a fan. I am thinking of buying this, I went to Radio Shack and building my own cooling fan would be more expensive..http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=14701

I'll put some pics up on tuesday of the tank. In other news, my Gourami's appear to be breeding. I was not planning on this happening anytime soon, so as of right now I have no way to protect any fry that may hatch by removing the parents.
