I have some Indian water star growning in my 26g bow. It has been grown like crazy in my tank, so much that it reached the top of my tank and gong a cross the top. So I went and clipped it and planted what I cut. It's still growing like crazy just growing out instead of up. But I have also notice roots growing all over the place. Is there something I can do about these roots growing all over the place?? I was thinking about cutting off the roots off but I not sure if this is the right thing to do so I came here for help before I do anything... Any help will be great...

I think you're referring to 'stargrass'. If so, the roots are a natural occurrence and can be cut off with no ill affects to the plant. Stargrass tends to get bushy when pruned, especially under good light. Nice plant.
