So long as the biowheel was turning while you medicated your tank, none. It got coated with just as much meds as everything else.
If you had a total wipeout type plague, with everything dead in the end, just dip your biowheel in boiling water, sterilize it, then your tank, and expect to have to go through the whole cycle process again.
 
Thanks for the response. No plague here. Just a series of parasitic infections. I'm thinking about keeping a low-level of salt in the tank as a prophylactic.
