Actually it is not rediculous. By killing the mate(and consuming him) you preovide nutrition to the offspring. And if you do keep them as pets, and wish to breed them, you take into account thier natural ways. I would assume you could trade the babies for another adult male if you wished to continue breeding. It would be no different than keeping black widdows.CajunCC said:
