I was at the local store and I saw a fertilizer for plants called ironite. Here is a picutre http://www.ironite.com/product_list.htm I am interested in the third product (Granular 10 lb box).

It says that it is full of iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, manganese, cobalt and molybdenum. Most of these chemicals are commonly used as aquarium plant fertilizers, if not all of them.

Is this product safe for aquarium use? It says "Laboratory and field tests prove Ironite is safe to humans, pets and the environment. **" (with the asterisks ;-) But I would think that fish are more sensitive than dogs.

So any suggestions about using this? It seems to have a lot of the things that I need. I was trying to order other fertilizers from a few places online but I don't have a credit card and they won't tkae a check by mail. I'm having trouble finding somewhere to get materials for fertilizer. Thanks for the help.

I would never use it. Arsenic. These are mining trailings, they don't even allow this to be sold in some states.
Search on the web about this.
