Just curious,
I have a new container of Goldfish flake food, (TetraFin brand).

Once the tank cycles, I plan on stocking it with typical community fish like Mollies, Danio's, Platy's, Neons, Barbs, Swordtails, etc.

Just wondering if the Goldfish flakes will be sufficient to feed them, or should I toss it out and get something else ?

It is good food for community fish.

Going the other way can cause problems. But like everyone else said variety seems to be the best thing for most fish.

it'd be fine to feed the goldfish food a couple times a week, in addition to a varied diet of other high quality foods.

Tetramin/Tetrafin isn't a very good food. lots of fillers and lower quality ingredients. but it's ok if you aren't feeding it every single day. i have a jar of the Tetramin tropical 'crisps' that i feed about once a week to a couple of my tanks. fish love the stuff, but that's because it's like junk food to them, lol.
