well if you read my post in the bottom dewellers section i bought 2 clown loaches they ended up gettin ich and were to little to pull threw it. today i bought 2 small angles for that tank right now they are in my hex tank i did a 100% water change in the 20 gallon that had ich there was prob a 1/2 inch to an inch of water i couldnt suck up tho. i washed out my bio wheel and replace the filter things. i figured i would wait atleast half a week before putting the angels in. i think ill prob wait a week tho. so what do you thing will it be good?

Anyone????

I think it would be best to not put fish that get to be 6-8 inches in size in a 20 gallon at all. I don't know what to tell you about the ich.

Ya that's what my 235 gallon is for!! ;)

No1 knows?

I have read somewhere that a week in a tank without a fishy host is enough to break the ick cycle but do you think that your cleaned up 20G tank will have it's cycle messed up ? If the tank is empty and you think the cycle is already stuffed up a bit you could try bumping up the water temperature just to be sure it's gone - you could go higher than you can if there are fish in there.

I am fairly new to this - so if somebody else has better advice please jump in.

I know with the total strip down you did when you do set that tank up that it will probably have to recycle.

I think two weeks without a fish host would pretty much get rid of the ick.

you could put 2 juvie angels in the 20 since you have other tanks you can ove the to when they get bigger..angels can get up to 11"
you should wait 2 weeks to break the ich cycle..what tep is tha tank at..remeber that if you up the tep to 86 you could kill the ich with the heat.

you will have to get the nitrogwn cycle kick started tho..you could take media from you other tanks to jump start the 20..if you put the angels in there keep an eye on the water..angels don't work well to kick start a cycle.

IMHO

I did bump the temp up to around 86. There are some decorations in the tank and all the rocks stayed wet. I will give it atleast a week prob 2 tho

I might run my 20 gallon filter on the 10 galon or do you think it will transfer the ich

PEOPLE I HAVE A 235 GALLON TANK FOR THE ANGELS or MY DADS TANK
