Is my pump in the right place

Hi everyone I have a under gravel pump and I was wondering if it is placed in the correct spot. I have a 25g tank. I have included a picture of what it looks like after it is covered up in the gravel. Could someone let me know if this looks right

No, where is the rest of the filter? You only have the updraft tube.

Set up looks wrong. There should be a tube attachment that stands upright in the water.

The tube attatchment is in the gravel. The under gravel part is missing.

it is going to be a pain to take out all of the gravel to get the plates in.

the uplift tubes need to fit into the plates, which sit under the gravel. they can either draw water down through the gravel or up through the gravel, depending on your setup.
