Is my Red Claw Crab ok?

I have had 2 RCCs since May. I provided a way for them to get out of the water and am working on setting up other tanks for my fish so I can change my tank to a brackish set up. The crabs have been hangin' on ok until tonight. My larger crab keeps turning over on his back. Is he sick or maybe just trying to molt? What do crabs do when they molt? I don't want to lose anybody. I just need a few more weeks to get the other tanks set up. What's going on?

Sorry to hear that. I hope you get a chance to get that brackish tank setup soon and get another nice crab.

Chances are they had lived quite awhile in freshwater at the LFS. Make sure to switch to brackish slowly for them and to use a marine salt mix and not just salt.
