Is their anything I can do? Please help..

This is about a trade, and I am stuck on what I can do. Okay, so I believe I have given this member plenty of time. He is very sweet, but let me explain what happened.

I had a thread up looking for an air pump I received a response and I decided to do a trade.

Here is what happened. I shipped out the fish on Oct. 28th like I was supposd to. He was supposed to ship out the air pump the same day. Something came up and he did not do it, so I told him to just let me know once he shipped. He received the fish on Oct. 31st. ( all of them arrived alive, except 1 was almost dead, so I guess he tossed it).

He eventually shipped out the pump on oct. 31st, but went out of town, ( never could find the tracking number to give to me), and when he came back from out of town the package was on his front porch). He said he was not the one who packed it, and the box was missing the address label for the recipient). He said he will go talk with them the next morning and ship out the air pump to me again. That is the last I heard from him. He has not logged on in 2 days.

I wanted to see if their is anything I can do? I really do no want to give him a neg. feedback just in case something really did come up again.

What makes me so mad, is that I sent him $30 worth of endlers ( 18 fish), plus I paid for all shipping cost to him, but I received nothing from him!!!

I am going to try to pm him today, and I will give him till wed. to have that air pump at my house, otherwise I will have no choice but to give him a neg. feedback, and see what I can do about the endlers, and shipping cost.

I have done many trades with people on this site. This is the first time, I have not received anything.

You could try speaking to a mod but not sure where that will get you.
 
So I STILL haven't got the air pump BUT I emailed him today as I know he was having some problems, just to make sure everything was okay. He hasn't logged in to AC for quite a while. He is a super sweet guy, so I told him not to worry about the pump and that I hope everything works out for the best.

you may or may not have gotten ripped off and there is only a few things you can do. 1) send them a letter reminding them of the pump, 2) send them a certified letter with delivery confirmation giving them 2 options a) send pump, or b) send money, 3) send a bill via paypal to their email address if you have it, 4) write it off as a loss on your taxes at the end of the year

No matter how sweet they sound what counts is their feedback. Did you check his feedback before you made the deal? Sorry you got Jacked...:swear: I would be fuming.
 
Thank everyone for the replies. I am mad, but I know what he is going through and I do feel sorry for him. I am waiting to see if he emails me back. I checked his feedback before I did the trade, and he had 100% positive.
 
what kind of air pump?

I may have a spare you can have.
