Is this a good plan?

I have made a list of how I would like set up and What to have housed in my future 55gal marine tank, but not 100% positive that this will work!
For filtering I would like to use a wet/dry filter and a portein skimmer.For lighting I was thinking about using metal halide lights and for a substrate a DSB.
As far as what I would like to house in the tank is as fallows,
-Live rock (lbs?)
-Anemones(?)
-Common Clownfish
-Mandarinfish
-Lemmon Goby
-strawberryfish
(Not sure how many of each fish will work)
I hope this works out but like I said not sure it will.Any comments and or alterations to my plan welcome.
Also any DIY wet/dry plans to try to keep coast down!

I would hold off on the anemone until your tank is well established. They require alot of light (which you have covered with the halide) and do best in an established tank.

If you have a DSB and one pound of LR per gallon of water, then you won't need the wet/dry at all. Just get a couple of power heads and put them in the back rear corners of the tank and point them toward the front center of the tank. You can use a hang-on-back filter for circulation if you want, just take out all the media (bio-wheels, filter cartriges).

I'm setting up a 55 gallon this month, and that is my plan.

Adding to what Deltaguy said, instead of using a wet/dry, convert that system to a sump for hiding your heaters, protein skimmer and whatever other equipment you may have. I would also suggest waiting for 6 to 12 months before adding a mandarin. The vast majority of mandarins will eat only copepods and you will need an established tank with a healthy copepod population to have a chance of this fish surviving. IMHO you will also need t least 75lbs of live rock to maintain the copepod population once it is established.
