Is this a good stand?

They're rated for a 55g and I doubt Petco would assume the risk if they were a hazard. Go for if brand-new and rock bottom cost are musts for you. I like the looks of their Brooklyn metal stand better, but it's ~$20 more. I've got the black laminated MDF wood stand for my 55g, just like Petco's aquatic fundimentals stand. Like it a lot. Very sturdy and looks good. Got it shipped to my door from DrsFosterandSmith for around $100.
 
Thanks. I'm actually just gonna help my grandpa build one. He already has woods and tools.
