Is This Light Worth The Money?

is this light worth the money and is it good for corals and fish? it seems kind of cheap so i was asking you guys what you thought?

i have no idea what brand that is but i guess for $32 its worth a shot. that will be good for just about any soft coral. what do u plan on keeping?

im still undecided.. any suggestions?

its a 29g tank with 20lbs of lr and ls no fish yet.

I'd say a 24W light by itself over a 29g wouldn't give you enough light to grow any photosynthetic coral.

would 2 of those over a 100g tank be ok for fowlr setup?

for a fowlr tank any wattage of lighting will do if your lanning agressive fish thats even better they prefer not too bright of lighting.. myself personally i beleive in this hobby the phrase of you get what you pay for is 100% right on the money,, i would in your case just purchase a normal auqarium hood light of a decent quality brand from your LFS but thats JMO if you decide to go with corals later on or think you may want to go with T5 lighting i have seen some beautiful corals grown under these lights
