My 6" Oscar has some weird looking poop. Even if I feed him/her 3 days of pellet foods the feces sometimes looks like this.

It floats around the tank and is tubular is shape -not flat. It's usually half brownish and half clear. Gross looking. He eats very very well and is always hungry.

Should I be worried? I'm thinking of treating the tank with Prazi. Thanks for any opinions and diagnosis.

First pic is the poop removed from tank - second is it floating around the top.

Anytime poop floats it means it is high in fat content (humans too). I have never seen poop that looks like that from an Oscar. Do NOT treat with any medicines or chemicals until you are 100% sure of the cause. You can cause more harm than good by dosing the wrong stuff at the wrong time.

Well I don't feed the Oscar any meat or feeder fish. Don't know why it is floating like that either. I do feed frozen bloodworm and lots of veggies. I'll keep watching for other symptoms. Thanks.
